About Us

Tracey Quixley – Centre Coordinator

Email me at: windmillccmanager@btconnect.com

I have been working with the Children’s Centre since September 2009, initially based at the Horley Children’s Centre and then at our new building in Smallfield from January 2011.

My previous experience has been in Human Resources and Recruitment for the financial sector and I was only too pleased to give up the commute to London and start getting involved with the local community.  I have 3 children and it was helping out at my youngest’s school whilst taking a long career break that I became interested in working with children and their families.

My role at the Windmill is to plan and co-ordinate our services and activities to reflect the needs of the local area, as well as supporting the team in their roles.  Working with families is very rewarding and we are always keen to respond to your views.  Please come and talk to me if you would like further information about the Centre or if you would like to become involved as a volunteer or part of a Parents Forum.

Nancy Stevens – Outreach Worker

I am really looking forward to working with the local children and their families.  My previous roles have all been working in early years settings, as an early years practitioner and SENCO.  I have a passion for improving families lives and have lived in the local Surrey area for the past twenty years.

I have one daughter and it was through volunteering at my daughter's school that I became interested in working with children and have not looked back since.  I now have a BA in Early Years and am looking forward to gaining more knowledge and experiences from working at The Windmill.

Please come and say hello next time you pop into the centre. It has been lovely to meet some of the families already.

 What is an Outreach Worker?

My role is to support all families that include young children from 0-5years.

I make sure that all parents/carers have the support they need to get involved in their children’s learning and development, to give all children the best possible start in life.

I can offer support either in your own home or here at the Centre.
